30 days of CSI: NY - Day 07: Character you’ve changed your opinion of

Stella.

Despite moments in s1 particularly where she really grated on me for how she treated Mac, I actually used to like her. Like I said, there were flashes of irritation from me, most especially in ‘Officer Blue’ when she got all bitchy about Mac wanting to wait to remove the bullet from the horse and subsequently storming into his office with the AR-15 (and I always gloat that she gets the specs and info on it wrong :D), and the one where I always got downright angry with her was in ‘The Closer’ where she interrupted his breakfast to bitch at him about re-examining the evidence without her “blessing”. It wasn’t as if he hadn’t already told her about his doubts or insinuated that she had screwed up. But like I said, outside a handful of moments like that, I actually liked her…….up until the whole Greek thing in s5. THAT was just too much. She went behind Mac’s back, lied to him, got Jess involved in her whole plot after Mac ordered her off the case, committed god knows how many fire-able illegal things, and then had the gall to get personally offended when Mac called her out on it all! And THEN she goes to Greece to take things into her own hands?! Why Mac didn’t permanently fire her is beyond me. And as s6 wore on she just became more and more self-absorbadly emotional and dramatic about everything culminating in the episode ‘RIP Marina Garito’ where I ended up wanting to throw things at the tv. And now I can’t stand her.  Not to mention her insanely low cut tops and stilettos make a ludicrous (and more) wardrobe for a detective.
